People are often caught off guard when they meet me. I’ve been told I have the mind of someone much older — an old soul with a playful streak.  Perhaps it’s from watching Rock Hudson and Doris Day romcoms, or from reading one too many classics; Catch-22 will always be my favorite.

I feel fortunate to have traveled to 14 countries so far —Portugal gave me spice and sunrises I still dream about, while Bergamo, Italy, taught me that sometimes the simplest meals end up being the most memorable.

I find calm in long runs, quiet fairways, and well-worn pages of a book.

Golf is another passion of mine, both playing and studying the game. I’ve even read Ben Hogan’s book, though I’ll admit I still haven’t shaved enough strokes off my putting to say it’s helped much. I’ve teed off at Chambers Bay and a few tucked-away favorites, and Torrey Pines and Pebble Beach are still on my list. I run most days too, and it’s my way of staying grounded and keeping a clear head. 

I’m currently pursuing a demanding graduate degree, though I prefer to keep the details offline. That mystery is part of the fun, and I’ll happily share more when we’re together.
